Banksy is not the messiah - he's a very naughty boy

I'm loving some of the graffiti along the Regent's Canal in London. This one is just West of Camden Market. I'll put up a couple of others I've spotted over the past few months. Links to sites which show more would be appreciated!

The big monkey head is one of my favourites, and once you've seen him once you'll start seeing him EVERYWHERE! The artists (don't know who it is) is pretty prolific and always paints the same monkey face - there's one near my house on the Bethnal Green Rd and always makes me smile.

Just another reason to love cycling; you notice so much more out and about than you do in a car or a tube.

Sure thing ... and talking of the Bethnal Green Road, have you noticed those really huge hedgehogs and rabbits there? (Possibly Hackney Road, I often get them mixed up) ...

Yes! The enormous animals (there is one on Brick Lane and some on the Hackney Rd) are by quite a famous Spanish graffiti artist called Roa... i think they are a bit sinister, but I guess thats what makes them cool. Better than looking at another Marks and Spenders advert anyway...

Check out his website: http://roaweb.tumblr.com/

OOOh yes, I see what you mean! Quite cool that he does them in such run-down looking spots (who else would care!) but they do have a distinctly dark side. Thanks for the link. And yes, far better than the ads.
